Cetelem is part of the BNP Paribas group and specialises in consumer credit. At the time of the project, it operated in 24 countries, with approximately 20,000 employees and 2.5 million customers in Spain.
Within BNP Paribas Personal Finance, it brings together teams in different roles who need access to training and reference materials. Cetelearning brought that learning to their mobile devices, with bespoke content and offline access.

The starting point
Cetelem wanted to offer engaging training accessible on employees’ mobile devices. Access needed to be flexible, allowing learning anywhere, even offline, with progress synchronised when connectivity returned.
The solution also needed to work on personal iOS and Android devices, supporting teams with different devices and needs.

Create, deliver and consult within one experience
Netex combined catalogue content, bespoke production, and authoring and distribution tools. The project used Netex solutions from a portfolio now presented as Netex Cloud.

Catalogue content and bespoke materials were combined to provide training and quick-reference resources on skills, finance, business and employee information.
Independent content creation
The authoring tool enabled Cetelem teams to develop more than 70 courses and keep their materials up to date quickly and continuously.
A dedicated app: Cetelearning
The customised app distributed content through the cloud and provided mobile access, offline learning and progress synchronisation when users reconnected.
Tracking and incentives
Course statistics and grades supported an incentive scheme that recognised employees who were most engaged in their learning.
Integration with Meta4
Integration of the platform with Meta4 to coordinate training management with the company’s systems.
What changed with the project
More than 500 employees trained with Cetelearning. The initiative was made available to 1,300 people and enabled the creation of over 70 bespoke courses following the pilot. Training data supported an incentive scheme recognising employee participation.
