Learning Technologies UK 2022

WED 4TH & THU 5TH MAY 2022

After two years of disruption due to the pandemic, Europe’s leading showcase of organisational learning and technology, Learning Technologies Conference and Exhibition, is back! Taking place on the 4th and 5th May at the ExCel in London, we are excited to be there!

The free exhibition provides a unique and exciting environment for all those involved in workplace learning. With over 9,000 attendees from 50 different countries, it will host 200 unmissable free seminars covering all the latest issues in workplace L&D. As well as this, there is the opportunity to meet over 200 Exhibitors who will be showcasing the latest technologies and learning solutions, so it really is an event not to be missed!

The conference is essential for any learning and development professionals with plenty to learn from in the 30+ conference sessions with over 90 speakers and facilitators already confirmed. There are collaborative sessions designed for interaction and countless opportunities to network with fellow L&D professionals.

Throughout both days, at Netex Stand we will have experts available on hand from our Product, Content and Learning Consultancy teams to answer any questions you may have and talk to you about the digital learning solutions we offer. So make sure you head over to Stand E50.

With so much going on at the event, here’s a snapshot into what Netex will be doing over the two days!

FREE EXHIBITION SEMINAR

Day One – Wed 4th May – Theatre 6 – 1:15-1:45pm

Learning environments in the flow of work

Jez Anderson, Learning Solutions Consultant

We have all experienced work in a dramatically changed workplace environment and no doubt we have all seen a shift in working and learning practices too. We have been talking to L&D colleagues across the UK to find out just how they’ve been responding to the recent shift in learner expectations and behaviours.

In this session we will share the insights we’ve gleaned and offer a perspective on how the L&D community is adapting to these changes and the slow but steady shift towards learning consumerism and learning in the flow of work. Working with clients across all sectors as they tackle this shift has enabled us to reflect on the challenges and opportunities and share some practical hints and tips for you to take away.

DEMO SESSION

Day Two – Thu 5th May – Bitesize Learning Zone 2 – 11:55-12:10pm

learningCloud: user-centred, micro and mobile

José Martín, Strategic Solutions Manager

The main objective of learningCloud is to keep the focus on the user, that the user is the centre instead of the Learning & Development department.

We will see how to make the user the centre through:

  1. An incredible user experience that brings content closer to the user in a similar way to Netflix.
  2. A system of recommendations and content search that makes sense to the learner.
  3. A microlearning content structure that knows that the learner has short (and many) moments instead of long (and few) ones
  4. A mobile-first approach that knows that the user learns from anywhere and at any time.

STAND SEMINARS

The stand will feature a Demo Zone with a number of planned sessions running throughout the event covering the following topics:
