The Galician Health Service, SERGAS, operates in Galicia’s public healthcare sector. Together with the Agency for Health Knowledge, ACIS, it promotes innovation and the sharing of healthcare knowledge.

Its learning projects serve professionals, patients and the public. This diversity requires connecting training with clinical practice and making relevant resources accessible for each profile and need.

01 | The challenge

The starting point

Unify knowledge management for diverse audiences, integrate clinical and corporate systems, organise a catalogue of more than 1,200 learning resources, and measure the effect of training.

The priorities
01

Training at scale for diverse audiences: professionals, patients and the wider public.

02

Modernising and unifying the healthcare knowledge management system.

03

Complex integration with clinical and corporate systems: IANUS 5, XEDOC, SIGUS and FEWEB.

04

Managing a catalogue of more than 1,200 learning resources.

05

Making relevant, personalised content available.

06

Measuring the actual impact of learning on clinical outcomes.

07

03 | The Netex solution

A shared environment to learn, share and evolve

Netex and SERGAS designed an environment that combines content distribution, community and integration with healthcare systems.

01

Putting knowledge to work through social learning

SHARE operates as a social network for healthcare knowledge. Professionals can curate, share and reuse content, supporting collaborative learning and the creation and distribution of expert knowledge.

02

A personalised experience

Advanced features recommend content based on user profiles and behaviour, adapt the learning experience to individual needs, and make relevant information easier to find within a large catalogue.

03

Integration with the clinical ecosystem

The solution integrates with SERGAS healthcare systems, enabling professionals to prescribe learning content to patients, connect with key systems such as IANUS 5, XEDOC, SIGUS and FEWEB, and embed learning within care workflows.

04

Scalability and continuous development

A modular architecture provides the scale to support thousands of users, the flexibility to meet new needs, and room for the learning model to evolve continuously.
