Learning Technologies Summer Forum 2017
Tuesday 13th June 2017
Netex participated in the summer edition of the largest European L&D event, Learning Technologies Summer Forum.
Seminar “Consumerisation of Learning”
During the event Mike Byrne also ran a seminar on the Consumerisation of Learning. He profiled the modern learner and looked at the emergence of a new set of learning technologies, which are more applicable for today’s workforce. The recording of the 25 minute sessions is available below.
Mike Byrne, UK Country Director:
“It was great to be involved in Learning Technologies Summer Forum this year for the first time. Having exhibited at the main event in February for 4 years in a row now we took the opportunity to take part in the summer showcase this June, as it provided us with the ideal event to relaunch learningPlay into the market and to meet with potential customers.”
“From our perspective, the event was just the right size, small enough to feel personal but large enough to meet potential buyers from a wide range of industries. There was lots of interest in our latest application learningPlay and our wider learning ecosystem, learningCloud, and even more importantly the follow-up conversations since have been extremely productive.”
Designed to further develop the key learning themes from February’s exhibition, the show brings a packed programme of more than 30 free seminars in four open theatres and an exhibition area showcasing 36 of the leading industry suppliers. The event is a fantastic opportunity to experience the best of the sessions, new technologies and demos, as well as network with fellow L&D professionals and to keep your finger on the pulse of this fast paced and ever-changing industry.
This event is absolutely free to attend and runs alongside our established Learning & Skills Group conference in the Olympia Conference Centre.
