Netex visits ISTE 2017, the EdTech reference event in the USA

From June 25th to 28th, Netex travels to ISTE Conference & Expo 2017, in San Antonio, Texas, USA, one of the biggest and most interactive technology conferences and exhibitions in the world, which gathers the largest EdTech collective of professionals.

More than 5,000 representatives from some 500 exhibiting companies will demonstrate to around 4,500 attending companies how their products and services are revolutionising educational technology. About 15,000 educators also participate in the event, which offers more than 1,000 lectures in different formats. There are also opportunities to test the latest technological innovations in learning and teaching and to interact with classroom configurations and state-of-the-art technological scenarios.

The event, organised by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), will focus on four areas:

  • Digital age teaching and learning covers all aspects of technology use in the learning environment.
  • Leadership develops and articulates a vision for the role of technology in educational leadership programs.
  • Professional learning focuses on the training and development of leaders, teachers and other educators.
  • Technology infrastructure focuses on the technology, resources and policies necessary to build the infrastructure for effective learning, teaching and administration.

This visit is an excellent opportunity to discover firsthand the latest trends and what’s new in the most mature and competitive market in the world within the L&D sector by meeting the suppliers that make it possible. In addition, to keep up with the latest technology trends and access multiple networking opportunities beyond the event, registration includes an annual subscription to the ISTE Community.
